On 18 November 2025 ETN Global’s Technical Lead Giuseppe Tilloca chaired the session “Shaping the Future – Introduction to Careers in Energy” at the Enlit Europe 2025 conference in Bilbao.
The morning began with an introduction to careers in the energy sector, followed by a keynote speech from Guillermo Rivas Munar – Iberdrola on how to secure the next generation of net-zero engineers. Next, presentations and a panel discussion covered current market developments and the skills needed for the evolving energy industry. The panel featured the following experts:
- Ruben Abbas, Profesor Titular – Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
- Giulio Grassi, Director – Sesta Lab
- Ainara Bidaurratzaga Calderón, Deputy General Manager – MERYTRONIC
- Josu Etxebarria, Chief Operations Officer – Edinor – Distributed Generation
Attendees later took part in a short training session by Nathan Ott from The GC Index on understanding individual impact, before visiting the exhibition to meet potential employers. The day concluded with networking opportunities allowing participants to connect with industry representatives.
