We are seeking a motivated Trainee to join our team for a six-month full-time Traineeship focused on energy policy. You will work closely with our Policy & Project Officer and our Communications Manager.

Tasks will include:

• Monitoring key EU energy and industrial policy developments (e.g. IED 2.0, NZIA, ETS, Hydrogen & CCUS frameworks
• Developing expertise in energy-related policies outside of Europe in line with ETN Global’s growth strategy
• Following updates from DG Energy, Politico, LinkedIn/X, and institutional sources
• Drafting concise policy updates for ETN’s newsletter and LinkedIn
• Developing and maintaining a contact database of EU institutions and member policy officers
• Preparing content for ETN’s 2026 R&D Recommendation Report (policy chapter)
• Attending relevant Brussels events (ETIP SNET, SET Plan, ENZA meetings, EU stakeholder forums)
• Supporting ETN’s involvement in EU-funded projects
• Supporting specific user meetings abroad
• Assisting the ETN team with internal events and periods of high activity
