• Nikolaos Savvakis (Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Technical University of Crete). Nikolaos will give a presentation on the replicability in the ROBINSON project and the systematic approach taken to validate and support replicating the solutions in Follower and other islands. His presentation will outline key steps such as the local context definition, technology transfer, and business model identification crucial for successful replication. Attendees will gain insights into challenges, opportunities, and innovative tools like ROBINSON Evidence Base and Replication Roadmap for effective replication planning and execution.
• Dimitra Pli (Project & Innovation Manager at Stratagem). Dimitra will present business models for energy communities, which were investigated and selected during the course of our project. Specific Business Models Canvases (BMC) for our demonstration island (Eigerøy, Norway) and follower islands (Crete, Greece and Western Isles, Scotland) were developed, with the aim of creating value at the local level through the integration of renewable energy sources, energy-efficient technologies, and smart grid infrastructure.
