Must-know information about HLUM 2025:

The High-Level User Meeting (HLUM) is ETN Global’s flagship, invitation-only forum for high-level decision-makers and senior gas turbine experts from the end-user community. It offers a unique platform to engage with senior peers across the utility, industrial, and oil & gas sectors, and to collaboratively define the short-, medium-, and long-term development needs of turbomachinery technologies. The outcomes of this meeting can play a critical role in enhancing the resilience, profitability, and strategic positioning of your operations.

In 2025, the focus will shift from broad challenges to a deep dive into a select number of key barriers—prioritised by participants. These discussions will directly influence ETN Global’s technical initiatives and working groups.

This year’s meeting will aim to:

  • Reassess and confirm the continued relevance of the previously identified decarbonisation pathways
  • Examine progress made on the technical, policy, financial, and societal challenges identified last year
  • Evaluate how ETN Global’s activities are aligning with end-user priorities
  • Formulate a coordinated message to the turbomachinery community around:
    • Current and future market needs
    • End-user priorities for decarbonisation
    • Key technical developments and timelines

The HLUM agenda is structured to ensure strategic alignment, deep sectoral insight, and actionable outcomes. Highlights include:

  • Welcome & Introduction
Review of key developments in the gas turbine market and reflection on progress since HLUM 2024.
  • Alignment and Progress
Assessment of how ETN Global’s ongoing initiatives align with evolving end-user needs.
  • Prioritised Challenges
In-depth, cross-sector discussions on a select number of high-impact challenges, identified in advance by participants.
  • Action Planning
Definition of targeted next steps for 2026 and formulation of a joint message to the wider turbomachinery community.
  • Networking Opportunities
Dedicated time for informal exchange during coffee breaks, lunch, and the evening dinner.
