Annual General Meeting and Workshop 2024
Energy & Turbomachinery Network’s (ETN) 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Workshop titled “Accelerating turbomachinery pathways to net-zero” took place on 19-21 March 2024 in the city of Leiden, the Netherlands. It was a 2,5 day event which brought together representants from the whole gas turbine (GT) community.

- 13:45-15:45: Parallel training courses: Gas Turbine Materials: History and Current Application (Andre Mom, EM) / UK National Gas Future Grid, Water in energy and hydrogen production, Materials and the impact of hydrogen, Energy transition outlook (Chris Dagnall, Timothy Illson & Ryal Wyvill, DNV)
- 16:15-18:00: Parallel training courses: Impact on material on use of alternative fuels (Joy Sumner, Cranfield University) / Latest technology to reduce NOx emissions in OCGTs, using tempered air in a SCR system (Peter Rop & Leonel Goncalves Ferreira, NEM Energy)
