Gas turbines in a carbon-neutral society – bridging session to IGTC 2021

ETN held a virtual keynote session “Gas turbines in a carbon-neutral society – bridging session to IGTC 2021″ on 20 October 2020.

ETN’s International Gas Turbine Conference (IGTC), which was planned to take place in Brussels, Belgium, in October 2020, was postponed to 12-13 October 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ETN  organised a virtual keynote session on 20 October 2020 with the following speakers:

  • Energy outlook and policy requirements for a sustainable energy transition to a carbon-neutral society – Tim Gould, Head of Division, Energy Supply and Investment Outlooks, International Energy Agency
  • EU hydrogen strategy – Tudor Constantinescu, Principal Advisor to the Director for Energy, European Commission
  • Cost-Efficient Utilization of Hydrogen in Gas Turbines for Decarbonization of Power – Robert Schrecengost, Program Manager, Advanced Turbines and Advanced Energy Materials, US Department of Energy
